Theme Parks in India
As India is progressing continuously the trend of theme parks in India is also increasing. These parks in India can be considered as the best place for entertainment for middle-class and higher-class families. Some of the famous parks in India are:
Veegaland Park – This Park is in Kakanand, Cochin. Veegaland Park has no seasonal limitation and can be visited throughout the year. It can be reached through either cabs or bus services. Timings of Veegaland Park are from 10:30 in the morning till 06:30 in the evening. Its main attractions are Musical Dancing Fountain and Vintage Castle.
Ocean Park – Park is located at Osman Sagar Road, Gandipet, Hyderabad. Best season to visit the Park is from September to March every season. Can be reached by cabs or buses. Ocean Park gets opened at around 11:00 in the morning and is closed at 08:00 in the evening. Its main attractions are Free Loop Ride and The Rides
Ramoji Film City – Located in Vijayawada which is 25 Kms away from the city of Hyderabad. It has its name mentioned in Guinness Book of World Records as the largest film city in the world. Opened 7 days a week this film city was built in 1996 by the Producer Ramoji Rao. Entry fee for this park is Rs. 200/- per adult person and its visiting hours are from 09:00 in the morning till 06:00 in the evening. Ramoji Film City is also a wonder among seven wonders of Hyderabad City.
Essel World – Located at Gorai Beach Island, Borivali (W), Mumbai. Essel World is Mumbai’s largest water theme park with several water rides. Spread over the area of more than 30 acres this theme park can be entered by paying Rs. 200/- as an entry fee per adult person. Since Essel World is water theme park, best time to visit the place is from June to February. Its opening time is 11:00 in the morning till 07:00 in the evening. Special features of this park are Ice Skating and Rikis Rocking Alley.
Gujrat Science City – Located at Village Hebatpur, Sola-Santej Road, Sarkhej Gandhinagar Highway, Ahmedabad. As its name says this park is built to impart advanced science knowledge to the people. With many hands-on labs and demo projects this theme park is one of its kinds. Because it is educational theme park there is no entry fee till date.
